Terms of Use

PivotWings operates solely as a digital facilitation platform. PivotWings does not supervise, direct, control, or guarantee user interactions, content, advice, outcomes, employment opportunities, hiring decisions, or event experiences.

PivotWings is not an employer, recruiter, hiring agent, educational institution, professional advisor, or guarantor of results. All relationships, interactions, and decisions occur strictly between users.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Services. By using PivotWings, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep such information updated.

PivotWings may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or pose a risk to the platform or other users.

PivotWings provides community and social networking features that allow users to post content, comment, react, message, and engage with others. All content shared through the Services reflects the views of the individual user and not PivotWings.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, post, publish, or otherwise make available through the Services. PivotWings does not pre-screen content and does not guarantee its accuracy, reliability, or suitability.

By posting content on the Services, you grant PivotWings a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Services. You keep ownership of your content.

You agree not to use the Services to post, share, transmit, or engage in content or behavior that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property rights, promoting violence, scams, illegal activity, or otherwise harmful.

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Services, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, impersonate any person or entity, or use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.

You also agree not to cheat on skill tests, quizzes, or assignments, including by having another person complete them for you or by sharing answers; not to record, screenshot, or distribute video sessions without the consent of every participant; and not to arrange payment for Guardian sessions outside the platform to avoid fees.

PivotWings maintains zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, intimidation, coercion, abuse, or coordinated harmful behavior. This applies across all platform features, including public posts, private messages, mentorship interactions, bookings, video sessions, job board communications, and events.

PivotWings may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate users at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide explanations.

PivotWings enables connections between individuals seeking guidance and individuals offering mentorship or experience-based insights. PivotWings is not a party to any relationship formed between users.

Guardians participate as independent users and not as employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of PivotWings. Any guidance provided is based on personal experience only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or employment advice. Guardians do not guarantee employment, income, certification, referrals, or outcomes.

Seekers acknowledge that they are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any guidance received. PivotWings bears no responsibility for decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from Guardian–Seeker interactions.

Seekers may book paid sessions with Guardians through the platform. Each Guardian sets their own session price, availability, and session format. Guardian bookings are separate from, and not included in, a Career Development subscription.

Booking fees are paid to PivotWings at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds and the Guardian accepts it or the slot is shown as confirmed.

Rescheduling and cancellation:

• A Seeker may reschedule or cancel a booking at least twenty-four (24) hours before the session start time. A cancellation in that window is eligible for a refund under the Refund Policy, as the session has not been used.
• A Seeker who cancels less than twenty-four (24) hours before the session, or does not attend, is not entitled to a refund.
• If a Guardian cancels or does not attend, the Seeker may choose a new time with that Guardian or receive a full refund.

Sessions may take place through the PivotWings video calling feature. You are responsible for your own device, internet connection, and conduct during a session. PivotWings does not record video sessions unless a notice is shown to all participants in the call. The rules on anti-bullying and harassment apply in full to every session.

Guardians may earn income from paid sessions, courses, e-books, and other paid offerings they publish on the platform. PivotWings deducts a platform fee from each sale at the rate shown in the Guardian dashboard at the time of the sale.

Payouts are made to the bank or payout account the Guardian provides, on the schedule shown in the Guardian dashboard. Guardians must provide accurate payout and identity details. PivotWings may hold or reverse a payout where a payment is refunded, disputed, reversed, or reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.

Guardians are responsible for any taxes due on their earnings.

PivotWings offers courses, e-books, lessons, templates, and other learning materials, created by PivotWings or by Guardians (Learning Content).

When you buy or access Learning Content, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, share, upload, or distribute Learning Content, or share your account access with others.

Guardians who publish Learning Content confirm that they own it or have the right to publish it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any other person. PivotWings may remove Learning Content that breaches these Terms.

Learning Content is informational and educational only. Completing a course, e-book, or certificate on PivotWings does not guarantee employment, income, or recognition by any employer or institution.

Courses may include quizzes and assignments, and the platform offers a Skill Test to assess your current level. Scores, results, and feedback are provided to guide your learning and are not professional certification.

You must complete quizzes, assignments, and skill tests yourself. PivotWings may void results and restrict access where cheating or misuse is detected.

With your permission, your Skill Test results and profile may be shown to employers or used to match you with opportunities on the platform.

Career Development is a paid subscription that gives access to tools such as the career roadmap, workplace readiness lessons, the growth management checklist, self-assigned tasks, and AI-assisted learning, as available on the platform from time to time.

Career Development is offered in monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans at the prices displayed at the time of purchase. The Subscriptions and Refund Policy sections below apply to all plans.

You may buy a Career Development subscription as a gift for another person. The gift is activated when the recipient redeems it. A gift is non-refundable once it has been redeemed, and the 7-day Refund Policy applies to unredeemed gifts. The recipient's use of the Services is governed by these Terms.

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate learning content, recommendations, career roadmaps, feedback, and answers (AI Output). AI Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should review AI Output before relying on it.

AI Output is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or employment advice. You must not use AI features to create content that breaks these Terms.

PivotWings may provide a job board or talent engagement features solely as a facilitation tool. PivotWings does not verify employers, job listings, candidates, or opportunities and does not guarantee hiring outcomes.

All hiring discussions, negotiations, background checks, contracts, compensation, and disputes occur solely between the hiring party and the candidate. PivotWings disclaims all liability arising from job board interactions.

Employers may use PivotWings tools to post roles, assess and manage candidates, and manage their workforce. Employers confirm that their listings are genuine and lawful and that they will use candidate and employee data only for lawful recruitment and workforce purposes, in line with applicable data protection laws. Employers are responsible for the data they upload about their own staff and for obtaining any consent required for it.

Employer subscriptions and fees are as displayed at the time of purchase or agreed in writing.

PivotWings Launchpad is an internship program in which selected participants intern directly with PivotWings. Eligibility requirements, duration, stipend, and trial period are as stated in the program listing at the time of application. Selection is at PivotWings' sole discretion, and continuation after any trial period depends on performance.

Launchpad interns are not employees of PivotWings. Completion of the program may lead to a certificate of internship and a reference letter.

PivotWings may share opportunities from partner employers, including internship placements. These placements are not guaranteed, and their pay, location, and conditions are set by the partner employer.

Approved affiliates may earn a commission when a new user signs up or buys through their affiliate link, at the rate and on the terms communicated to them on joining. Affiliates must not use spam, misleading claims, paid ads on PivotWings brand terms, or self-referrals. PivotWings may withhold commission earned through fraud or a breach of these Terms and may end any affiliate's participation at any time.

PivotWings may host, advertise or facilitate virtual or physical events, workshops, meetups, cohorts, live sessions, podcasts, and training sessions. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

Event content is informational only and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or employment advice. Guest speakers and partners express their own views and not those of PivotWings.

PivotWings may photograph, record, or document events for operational, educational, or promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to such use unless an opt-out is expressly provided.

Certain Services require payment. By purchasing a paid Service, you agree to pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes or charges imposed by law.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all payment information submitted is accurate. PivotWings may suspend or terminate access where payment authorization fails, is reversed, or is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. PivotWings does not store your full card details.

Some Services are offered on a recurring subscription basis. When you purchase a subscription, you authorize PivotWings to automatically charge your selected payment method at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled.

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund fees already paid for the current or prior billing periods. PivotWings does not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods, unless required by law.

PivotWings may offer certain Services, features, trials, scholarships, or access tiers free of charge. Free Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

The availability of free Services does not create any obligation to provide paid Services without charge or to maintain free access indefinitely.

Refunds are strictly limited.

A refund may only be requested and considered within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the purchased Service has not been used, accessed, consumed, attended, activated, or partially utilized in any form.

After seven (7) days from the date of purchase, no refund shall be claimed, processed, or granted under any circumstance.

A Service is deemed used once any access to paid content, participation in mentorship, attendance at a booked session, event or cohort, activation of subscriptions, starting a course, quiz, assignment or skill test, or viewing or downloading of paid materials, including e-books, occurs.

Refunds are not available for partially used Services, completed or commenced programs, events, subscriptions after activation, digital content once accessed, or dissatisfaction based on personal expectations.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method. Services purchased through third-party platforms are governed solely by the refund policies of those platforms.

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

For pre-enrollment or early access Services, payment is charged at purchase. Launch dates may change and final features may differ slightly from promotional descriptions. Such changes do not entitle users to refunds beyond the seven-day unused rule.

The Services may integrate or link to third-party platforms, including payment, video, and AI providers, and optional Google services such as Sign in with Google and Google Calendar. How PivotWings handles data from Google is explained in our Privacy Policy. PivotWings is not responsible for third-party content, availability, practices, or actions. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

The PivotWings name, logo, platform, software, design, and PivotWings-created content, including PivotWings e-books and courses, are owned by PivotWings and protected by law. All rights reserved. You may not use them without written permission.

The Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. PivotWings makes no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, or outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PivotWings shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.

PivotWings may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or risk to the platform or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, without limiting any non-waivable rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

PivotWings may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
