Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PivotWings platform, including all websites, mobile applications, community spaces, social networking features, mentorship tools, job board, events, subscriptions, cohorts, programs, and related services (collectively, the Services). PivotWings provides the Services solely as a technology platform. By accessing, registering for, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
1. Platform Role and Limitation
PivotWings operates solely as a digital facilitation platform. PivotWings does not supervise, direct, control, or guarantee user interactions, content, advice, outcomes, employment opportunities, hiring decisions, or event experiences. PivotWings is not an employer, recruiter, hiring agent, educational institution, professional advisor, or guarantor of results. All relationships, interactions, and decisions occur strictly between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Services. By using PivotWings, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration and Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep such information updated. PivotWings may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or pose a risk to the platform or other users.
4. Community and Social Networking Use
PivotWings provides community and social networking features that allow users to post content, comment, react, message, and engage with others. All content shared through the Services reflects the views of the individual user and not PivotWings. You are solely responsible for all content you upload, post, publish, or otherwise make available through the Services. PivotWings does not pre-screen content and does not guarantee its accuracy, reliability, or suitability.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to post, share, transmit, or engage in content or behavior that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property rights, promoting violence, scams, illegal activity, or otherwise harmful. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Services, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, impersonate any person or entity, or use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
6. Anti-Bullying and Harassment
PivotWings maintains zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, intimidation, coercion, abuse, or coordinated harmful behavior. This applies across all platform features, including public posts, private messages, mentorship interactions, job board communications, and events. PivotWings may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate users at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide explanations.
7. Guardian and Seeker Relationships
PivotWings enables connections between individuals seeking guidance and individuals offering mentorship or experience-based insights. PivotWings is not a party to any relationship formed between users. Guardians participate as independent users and not as employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of PivotWings. Any guidance provided is based on personal experience only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or employment advice. Guardians do not guarantee employment, income, certification, referrals, or outcomes. Seekers acknowledge that they are solely responsible for evaluating and acting on any guidance received. PivotWings bears no responsibility for decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from Guardian–Seeker interactions.
8. Job Board and Hiring Disclaimer
PivotWings may provide a job board or talent engagement features solely as a facilitation tool. PivotWings does not verify employers, job listings, candidates, or opportunities and does not guarantee hiring outcomes. All hiring discussions, negotiations, background checks, contracts, compensation, and disputes occur solely between the hiring party and the candidate. PivotWings disclaims all liability arising from job board interactions.
9. Events and Hosted Experiences
PivotWings may host, advertise or facilitate virtual or physical events, workshops, meetups, cohorts, and training sessions. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Event content is informational only and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or employment advice. Guest speakers and partners express their own views and not those of PivotWings. PivotWings may photograph, record, or document events for operational, educational, or promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to such use unless an opt-out is expressly provided.
10. Payments
Certain Services require payment. By purchasing a paid Service, you agree to pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes or charges imposed by law. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all payment information submitted is accurate. PivotWings may suspend or terminate access where payment authorization fails, is reversed, or is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.
11. Subscriptions
Some Services are offered on a recurring subscription basis. When you purchase a subscription, you authorize PivotWings to automatically charge your selected payment method at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund fees already paid for the current or prior billing periods. PivotWings does not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods, unless required by law.
12. Free Services
PivotWings may offer certain Services, features, trials, or access tiers free of charge. Free Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. The availability of free Services does not create any obligation to provide paid Services without charge or to maintain free access indefinitely.
13. Refund Policy
Refunds are strictly limited. A refund may only be requested and considered within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the purchased Service has not been used, accessed, consumed, attended, activated, or partially utilized in any form. After seven (7) days from the date of purchase, no refund shall be claimed, processed, or granted under any circumstance. A Service is deemed used once any access to paid content, participation in mentorship, attendance at events or cohorts, activation of subscriptions, or viewing or downloading of paid materials occurs. Refunds are not available for partially used Services, completed or commenced programs, events, subscriptions after activation, digital content once accessed, or dissatisfaction based on personal expectations. Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method. Services purchased through third-party platforms are governed solely by the refund policies of those platforms. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
14. Pre-Enrollment and Early Access
For pre-enrollment or early access Services, payment is charged at purchase. Launch dates may change and final features may differ slightly from promotional descriptions. Such changes do not entitle users to refunds beyond the seven-day unused rule.
15. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate or link to third-party platforms. PivotWings is not responsible for third-party content, availability, practices, or actions. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. PivotWings makes no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, or outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PivotWings shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.
17. Termination
PivotWings may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or risk to the platform or other users.
18. Changes to These Terms
PivotWings may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
